2: What is your stance on religon? Would you affiliate yourself with any?

My stance on religion would take me an hour to explain thoroughly in writing, and I could possibly write for longer.  I was raised in a “spiritual” house while attending a fairly strict Baptist Christian school from JrK – 7th grade, and I almost minored in religious studies in college, i think i was just a class or two away, i find it incredibly fascinating.  I believe that we are all connected to all things in this world through the flow of Universal energy.  I believe in Karma, but i do not believe in time, necessarily, so it’s more like parallel worlds with infinite possibilities all playing out at once. I believe in a higher power, but I think it’s within all of us.  I think the #1 problem with most institutionalized religion is that it seeks guidance from an external source, making it very paternalistic and patriarchal.  I think that there are truths in all worldly religions, because all religions seem to be trying to make sense of the divine and higher spiritual presences (although many became corrupt and are now used as a way to oppress people).  I believe in Jesus, but I think the way he is portrayed now is inaccurate.   I think that Buddhism has it right on with the Four Noble Truths.  We need to stop wanting what else is out there and be happy with where we are at the present.  I think the Seth Material is an excellent book for understanding the nature of reality from a very interesting perspective. I think that ancient peoples had it more right than modern peoples do… green “magic”, the craft, understanding that everything has an energy and that visualization and being in harmony with the rest of the world is key.  I believe in channeling and literally communing with nature.  Ultimately I believe that our journey through physical life is only part of what we as unlimited energy beings are experiencing.
