wisconsin GOP wants to investigate a professor:

Professor Cronon, who describes himself as a political independent, said his initial nervousness had turned to anger over what he described as an attempt at harassment and intimidation. He said he had never engaged in any nonscholarly political work on university computers or time, which is prohibited, but was still concerned about the release of the e-mails.

I think they’re still mad that one blogger pretended to be one of the Koch brothers. And they want to squash any dissenting points of view.  What’s that called again? I think we need to create a word for what’s happening in the political sphere. Corporatocracy is good, but I think there’s more to it.

The United State’s largest corporation didn’t pay taxes:

Its extraordinary success is based on an aggressive strategy that mixes fierce lobbying for tax breaks and innovative accounting that enables it to concentrate its profits offshore.

shocking that those with the most don’t want to pay their fair share.
